TEM Company Limited社は1986年6月に創設され、レーザーおよび電子光学業界のコンサルティング、市場調査および市場開発会社としての業務を開始しました。当社の顧客には、レーザーおよび電子光学ビジネスを始めようとする大手の貿易会社、製造業者およびその他の業者、日本での製品販売促進に苦心している大手の製造業者あるいは既存製品向けに新たな市場を開発しようとする業者、新製品のトレンドと開発に更に深い洞察を求めている業者、そして日本での新製品の応用と購入に支援を要するエンドユーザーなどが含まれていました。この部分の事業は一人会社として発足し、主要顧客向けに市場調査、市場開発業務を行う人が加わって、拡大していきました。この業務は、やがて私共顧客の代表あるいは配給者としてのそれに拡大していきました。当社が現在日本において代理をつとめている企業の多くは、かつてコンサルティング業務において当社の顧客だった会社です。

TEM Company Limited was founded in June 1986 and started operation as a consulting, market survey and market development company in the laser and electro optic industry. Our clients included large trading companies, manufacturers and others who wanted to start in the laser and electro optic business, large manufacturers who was having difficulties marketing their products successfully in Japan or those who wanted to develop new markets for their existing products, those who wanted better insights into the new product trends and developments and end users who needed help in the applications and purchases of new products in Japan. This portion of the business started as a one man operation and was expanded by addition of more people to do market surveys, market development work for our principals. This operation extended into becoming a representative or distributors for our clients. Most of the companies we presently represent in Japan were our past consultation clients.
